Finally in its first bonsai pot,  purchased from http://www.bonequip.cz/ . Crown slowly starts to mature.
Konečne v prvej bonsajovej miske, kúpenej v http://www.bonequip.cz/ . Koruna sa pomaly začína zahusťovať.

Hrab č. 02 - Carpinus betulus No. 2

Další hrab zo zbierky prvotín. Zaujímavé a poučné pre mňa na ňom je to, že ako malý stromček mal oveľa viac rozpohybovaný kmeň, ktorý sa však vplyvom pestovania voľne v záhrade dosť narovnal a "vystrel". Spodné konáre sú takmer protistojné, ak by som však teraz jeden odstránil, zvýraznil by som nudnú rovnú časť kmeňa. Zatiaľ neriešim, dorastá vzadu vetvička, z ktorej možno vytvorím novú kostrovú vetvu. V ľavej časti nebari mi chýbajú korene, chcelo by to prikájať, ale zatiaľ nemám odvahu. Na budúcu jar pôjde do prvej bonsai misky :)
One more european hornbeam from my very first trees. What is isteresting and instructive for me on this tree is the movement of the trunk, which was much more twisted in early years. By freely growing in the field curves became more smooth.
The low bar branches are not good. I don´t want to cut one of them right now, because I think I would emphasise the boring straight middle part of the trunk. At the back side of the trunk is a one-year old branch, which will replace one of these bar branches. I miss some roots on the left side of a nebari, but I fear to graft them. I will put this one to it´s first pot next spring :)
