Pripájam niekoľko stromov, pekných spomienok z minulosti, ktoré už odišli do bonsajového neba.
Some memories of trees which have already gone in bonsai heaven.
Beautiful apricot - Prunus armeniaca - died in 2003 of fungal disease moniliasis. Very pleasant tree, with interesting story. This tree grew up as a little seedling on the mound of pavement stones in the yard of my aunt. As a little tree moved to the light, the trunk started to bent and twist between the stone cubes. I was a beginner without a knowledge about this insidious fungal disease, so the tree died right before my eyes. I´m still crying, when I see this picture. Nevermind, once a day comes when I have a nice big apricot :)
European beech digged out in 1997 somewhere in mountains of Slovakia. It has been growing in this pot for four or five years. I didn´t know how to design it, so I just pruned the new shoots. There was a time, when I was unable to take care of it. It has not awaken after one hard winter.
Little larch (hight 20 cm) which was growing on a ski slope. It has frozen after insufficient overwintering on my balcony. If I have it today, I would cut it and make a cute little shohin.
